Shortly after, it became a website for me to blog about college, roller coasters, and whatever else I wanted to talk about. After I left my first year of college to begin working as a ride operator in this great industry, Cheezonastick went into limbo, where it has been ever since (and, if you’ve seen the movie Inception, you know limbo isn’t a good thing).

I’m glad to announce that today is the end of Cheezonastick’s limbo period. Too long it has gone back and forth between a humor site, a news site, random junk site, 404 error site, and who knows what else. Today, I’m pleased to invite you in to Cheezonastick, the amusement park and roller coaster blog.

There’s no content up here quite yet. I do work somewhere around 80 hours every week during the summer, so updates are limited. I do have a basic idea of what I would like to post on here, however:

  • RideViews – Short articles accompanied by lots of pictures showcasing a certain ride
  • Galleries – Photo galleries of a ride, attraction, perhaps a park… could be anything
  • History – Because I’m a big history buff, Cheezonastick will definitely have some cool before-you-remember type features
  • Artifacts – With a growing collection of over 1,000 brochures and maps, I’d like to be able to post them for everyone to enjoy
  • Lost and Found – My editorial section, where I can write whatever I want
  • Fun Finds – When I find something cool and amusement park-related, this is where it goes
  • Everything Else – If it doesn’t fit in another category, it will definitely go here

So that’s a brief overview of what I have planned at the moment for Cheezonastick. Hopefully you stick around through the construction process, and make sure to bookmark us so you can keep coming back and enjoying Cheezonastick – the amusement park and roller coaster blog!
